An attenuator is pretty necessary.

Web6 feb 2012 · thanks for the replies. jubileeman, just checked your clips out, man the jub sounds great, and great playing too! i'm really torn between amps. i'm wanting to get rid of my xtc classic and get a marshall. i can't decide between a 2203 or a jubilee/slash. the only problem is, i've never played a jubilee. i've owned a jcm 800 and really liked it. Web3 dic 2013 · That mod really helps that amp a ton. On my 2203 based amp I built I keep the bass and resonance both cranked to 10 at home volumes. It has extra gain stages also, so when that is all cranked, it sounds VERY close to my Mesa Triple Recto, except it has more of the Marshall upper mids.
