You should get medical advice if you vomit repeatedly for more than 48 hours or feel unwell or weak. WebDiarrhoea usually lasts 5–7 days, and in most children stops within 2 weeks. Vomiting usually lasts 1–2 days, and in most children stops within 3 days. Notify the local health protection team immediately by completing a notification form , if any of the following notifiable diseases or organisms are suspected:
